I’d love to be able to say that Moodee Studio was started from a dream. But really it started from feeling like I was completely undervalued. I was working for a company that wanted to be feet to the ground like a startup. I was getting paid the bare minimum working to create and develop the brand. After working long days, I was made the Director of Marketing which meant a bare minimum raise that felt like a lot at the time and even longer work days. The tipping point was not only my terrible boss, but my male colleague who did half the work I did with a lower title and I were getting paid the same.
One day, I woke up, decided I had enough, and created a marketing plan for my agency and launched it. From then, I’ve connected with several other women business owners that have helped me mold and build Moodee Studio into what it is today. Each of these amazing women specializes in their individual craft and we work as a team to help our clients build a strategic custom solution for their businesses.
