A brand guide is all the elements that make up your brand and the rules you & your designer created.. Logo, typography, color palette, mood board, imagery + pattern, included in your brand guide.
If design isn’t your thing, DON’T DO IT YOURSELF! Hire a designer and work with them to develop a consistent look. This is included in all our branding & design services.
Canva is great, I get it. You can make awesome graphics and use them throughout your business. But the initial brand identity should be created by an experienced designer. There are design rules, color theory and so much more that needs to be considered.
Invest in a branding expert! Even if you have a business already, look into hiring an experienced designer to look over your branding and perfect it.
Simplicity is key. Don’t focus on the trends, focus on what your dream client is attracted to. Your logo should be timeless!
Plan ahead & create content that fits together. Use apps such as Planoly & Later to plan out your grid and give it a cohesive aesthetic.
If you find your dream client isn’t reaching out to you, that’s because you’re not talking to them. Using colors, fonts, words, and references that speak to your dream client is the key to working with them!
Develop your dream client, that way you know exactly what they’re attracted to. Use my Dream Client Worksheet to help you out, it’s totally free!
Remember, it’s not about what you like it’s about what your dream client is attracted to.
Your brand identity goal should be that your audience recognizes you even if you removed your business name and logo.
Include unique aspects of your brand to your designs. This will make you stand out from the crowd and give your brand a sense of identity.
